Today is National Writing Day and Rajan Dator meets Kaoru Akagawa who is keeping alive Kana Shodo, a script developed in 10th century Japan by women, so they could write, and for women, so they could read. Akagawa tells its story and explains how she uses Kana Shodo in her own art.
