Diamond League highlights as the 2019 outdoor track and field season heads to Europe for the first time.

The legendary Stockholm Olympic Stadium has witnessed numerous world records since it opened in 1912, and regularly attracts the sport鈥檚 leading athletes. Last year鈥檚 highlights included victories for Britain's Dina Asher-Smith and Lorraine Ugen, in the women鈥檚 100m and long jump respectively, while Cuban starlet Juan Miguel Echevarria demonstrated his potential in the men鈥檚 long jump with a mammoth leap of 8.83m, albeit wind-assisted. There were also four stadium records during the meeting and a popular win in the pole vault by Swedish sensation Armand Duplantis, who secured a popular first Diamond League victory by clearing 5.86m.
