The best folk and acoustic music from Britain and beyond.
This week, singer and musician Mary Ann Kennedy shares the music of Glasgow's minority Gaelic community.
Mary Ann (M脿iri Anna NicUalraig) was brought up in Glasgow, in a Gaelic-speaking family that hailed from the islands of Skye and Tiree. Her mother, Dr Kenna Campbell MBE, has done much to promote Gaelic song and culture, something Mary Ann has continued to do as a musician and broadcaster.
New album Glaschu (the Gaelic name for Glasgow) features songs and poems from, for or about the city's Gaels.
On this week's Folk Show, Mary Ann speaks to Mark live from the Isle of Tiree.
