Sean Fletcher visits the 20,000-strong Christian event Spring Harvest in Minehead, Somerset, for its 40th anniversary. Sean speaks to those who have been running the event for four decades and hears how it inspires and equips thousands of Christians to learn more about their faith. Radzi Chinyanganya meets a family in Manchester whose lives were radically changed by attending Spring Harvest 鈥� it inspired them to move home and start running a community project. With worship songs from the event as well as hymns from around the UK.

What is Spring Harvest?
Sean meets the Jervis family who explain the range of activities on offer at Spring Harvest in Minehead. One of Britain鈥檚 foremost hymn writers Graham Kendrick describes how Spring Harvest played a major part in his career as a worship leader.聽

Christian leaders, father and son
Clive Calver and his son Gavin have Spring Harvest in their blood. Clive was its co-founder in 1979 and Gavin, after a period of teenage rebellion, went on to become a Christian and is now one of Spring Harvest鈥檚 senior leaders. 聽Father and son each reflect on their shared journey.聽

Creative ways to pray
Sean joins Jane Holloway who leads Christians from Spring Harvest who are praying as they walk to the town of Minehead. Jane describes how 鈥榩rayer walking鈥� allows Christians to pray not just for themselves but for other people and other communities. The group joins with local Christian leaders, who explain the difference it makes to the town.聽

How Spring Harvest changes communities
Radzi Chinyanganya meets Heather and Laighton Walters who, after visiting Spring Harvest, were inspired to move home into a Manchester urban estate and offer help and hope to others.
