Qasa is asking this after the All Party Parliamentary Group for Muslims put forward a new definition, which has the support of Labour and the Liberal Democrats. But the government is set to reject it after a letter was put forward to them with a number of high-profile signatures including Martin Hewitt, the chair of the National Police Chiefs' Council, who said it could cause confusion among officers and hamper the fight against terrorism. After that Qasa wants to know, has Sri Lanka moved on from its ethnic divisions?
