Calorie-filled Easter eggs are being sold in shops far too early and that is tempting parents to buy unhealthy treats for their children, according to the Royal Society of Public Health. And the Scottish Government has been told by a senior expert that multi-buy promotions of high-sugar breakfast cereals should be banned and unhealthy cakes and ice creams should be thrown away rather than being placed on discount.
