“Brexit day” postponed

On the day that Britain was supposed to leave the EU, how do you feel that we’re not?

On the day that Britain was supposed to leave the EU, how do you feel that we’re not? Nihal is asking this as PM Theresa May attempts to get MPs to back part of her Brexit deal on what was supposed to be “Brexit day”. Then we’ll hear from the organisers of the Asian Woman Festival in Birmingham, which hopes to break stereotypes and change the way people look at Asian women. After that we’ll be talking about Mother’s Day and the difficulties faced by those whose mums have passed away. Sukhi Kaur, who lost her mum when she was 13, talks about how she copes on the day people are supposed to show how much they appreciate their mothers. Plus, Sachin Nakrani, from the Guardian newspaper, and Mohammed Butt, chief writer at the football website Squawka, chat to Nihal about the Premier League’s new anti-racism campaign. It's called No Room for Racism and for the next two weeks there will be banners at football grounds and films on social media about it.
