Ditch the Phone and the Tattoos

A pub in Cork has banned smartphones to encourage human interaction - Should we all follow suit and have tattoos become so mainstream that they are no longer cool?

Put down that phone and lets have a chat - can we cope with the thought of real human interaction or are we addicted to our smartphones?

A pub in West Cork in the fabulously named seaside town of Courtmacsherry has asked all their patrons to put away their phone on arrival and horror of horrors talk to each other!
Could you spend a whole night in the pub without checking your phone?

And maybe it was the Adam Levine from Maroon 5 displaying his tattooed torso in the Superbowl or Justin Bieber's latest photo shoot but have tattoos gone so mainstream that they are no longer cool?

They used to be a little edgy - something that your Great Aunt would not approve of - now your Great Aunt probably has one and there is no shock factor.

So why bother?

Vinny is joined by Kathryn Wilson and Gerry Miller.

Our miniseries "What I wish I'd know when I was 25," continues with David Foster who was once a safari guide in South Africa and in his spare time rescues dogs from China!
