Over 300 people die here every week, yet only a tiny number of them will be organ donors. We know that the organs from a single body may help many others. Indeed the family of a donor can opt to receive details of just how many people were helped and in what way by the gift of organs. It begs the question, is it immoral not to be an organ donor?
