It's been described by the AA as a 'poll tax on wheels' and there is an ongoing backlash against the Scottish Government's proposals for a workplace parking levy. 3 councils - Scottish Borders, Dumfries and Galloway and North Ayrshire - have said they oppose it. However 12 organisations, including WWF Scotland and Friends of the Earth Scotland, have sent a letter to the leaders of the five parties at Holyrood urging them to get behind the scheme.
