Theresa May says she will go back to Brussels to try to change her Brexit deal after getting a mandate in parliament.
Theresa May is heading for confrontation with the European Union -- after MPs last night authorised her to renegotiate part of the Brexit deal she's agreed with Brussels. Moments after the Commons approved her plan to seek legally-binding changes, the EU once again insisted that renegotiation was not an option. At the heart of the dispute is the backstop -- which would prevent physical checks on the Irish border if there was no trade deal.
