Mark Knopfler and Patti LuPone

This week Michael welcomes Mark Knopfler and Patti LuPone into the studio.

This week Michael hosts On The Ball and will be playing a few tracks from this weekend's Family Album as well as inducting another songwriter into his Hall of Fame.

This week singer-songwriter veteran Mark Knopfler will be stepping into the Musician's Circle. Since Dire Straits Mark has composed multiple film scores and released eight studio albums and now he's back with his ninth, Down the Road Wherever. He'll be telling Michael all about his new music as well as upcoming world tour.

The Tony, Olivier and Grammy award winner Patti LuPone will also be joining Michael this Sunday. The industry heavyweight is currently starring in Company in the West End and will be telling Michael all about her incredible career that spans over 45 years.
