John broadcasts from the Radio Foyle studios on the weekend of the International Choral Festival. There's live music from a cappella group Ardu and John visits Voces8 at a choral workshop in the city. In the studio he meets the teenage inventors who have created something that may just save your life, cats eyes that change colour in icy conditions. He also chats to two award winners - Eimear McGovern talks about life as a daughter on her family farm with three sisters and the award she won in recognition of saving her father's life when he had a heart attack; and Ryan Pleijzier who won the 91热爆sense Young Achiever Award at the Prince's Trust Awards in recognition of the challenges he faced giving up university to become a legal guardian of his sister. Paula McIntyre cooks roast pumpkin, sage and bacon pasta bake for Halloween.
