Katie Melua and Katherine Ryan

This week Michael welcomes Katie Melua and Katherine Ryan into the studio.

This week Michael hosts On The Ball and will be playing a few tracks from this weekend's Family Album as well as inducting another songwriter into his Hall of Fame.

Georgian born singer-songwriter Katie Melua will be joining Michael this week. Katie shot to fame with the release of her debut album Call Off The Search in 2003 when she was just 19 years old. Since then she's performed all over the world, sold millions of records and has released seven albums. She's about to embark on her European tour with the Gori Women's choir and will be performing live in The Musician's Circle.

Also popping by for a chat will be Katherine Ryan. The Canadian comedian has had a whirlwind year appearing on shows such as Comedy Central's Roast Battle and Your Face Or Mine and is about to finish her Glitter Room tour with a two week residence at London's Garrick Theatre.
