Frank joins Roy on the show to mark 50 Years of The Hennessys

Roy presents classic tunes from the 1940s, 50s and beyond. Today Roy's special guest is fellow presenter Frank Hennessy, who is celebrating 50 years of his famous folk band The Hennessys with a new documentary on 91热爆 Radio Wales.
The special programme traces the story of the three Cardiff lads who came together during the folk revival of the 1960s and went on to enjoy popularity around the world.
Roy also previews this year's Swansea Festival, where composer Sir Karl Jenkins will be honoured by being granted the freedom of the city, who will be conducting a concert of his work at Brangwyn Hall.
The concert will include the world premiere of Sir Karl's latest composition, 'Lament for Syria'.
From the archive, the story of the Beddgelert Meteorite. In 1949 a meteorite crashed into a local hotel, and young newspaper reporter Dafydd Evans found himself with a front page scoop.
