Series about the UK's biggest fishing port, Peterhead. The Zenith's skipper Paul takes evasive action when he notices that his boat is on a collision course with another trawler.
In the remote Norwegian sector of the North Sea, the Boy John manages to free its stuck net and finally starts getting good hauls of fish. The fish hold fills up and the mood on the boat lightens. Skipper Jonny McLeman goes for one last haul of fish and then starts the 24-hour journey back to Peterhead. Off the coast of Scotland, the Zenith has moved to a busy fishing ground that's being criss-crossed by 11 other boats. Skipper Paul notices that his boat is on a collision course with another trawler, but there's no response from the other boat's wheelhouse when Paul calls them on the radio. He takes evasive action so the boats, and their long nets, avoid each other. Paul's decision to try a new fishing ground pays off and, with a hold full of fish and prawns, the boat heads back to Fraserburgh's early morning market. Back on land, Allison shows environmental health inspectors round Peterhead's new state-of-the-art fish market. If it doesn't pass this strict inspection, the new market won't be able to open. It's a nervous wait for Allison as the inspectors make their decision.
