Branagh, who has a background in theatre and television, is a leading figure in British cinema and discusses his latest film All Is True, in which he plays William Shakespeare. He directs this film which also stars British actors Judi Dench and Ian McKellen. In a wide-ranging interview, the actor-director reflects on his enviable career in cinema: he has directed more than 15 feature films and has been nominated for five Academy Awards.
