Josie d'Arby visits Lee Abbey retreat centre in Devon to find out why Christians take their holidays there and how it brings rest and refreshment to people from all over the world. JB Gill helps to distribute copies of the Gideons Bible around London and discovers how one of the charity's Bibles in a hotel room transformed the life of one young man. And a Christian couple explain why they spend their holidays on a canal boat studying the Bible and praying for others.

Stories
Josie discovers the history of Lee Abbey, the Christian retreat centre in North Devon, and meets Christian volunteers who come on a working holiday to help with the upkeep of the grounds. They each describe how they feel blessed and refreshed by being there. Josie also meets Joan and Waqas, two members of Lee Abbey staff who have travelled from other countries to be based here.
A Christian Canal Boat Holiday
Christian couple Sally and Clive Banwell take three months of each year for an extended holiday on their canal boat. Whilst traversing the waterways they befriend other canal users and offer to share their Christian faith. On board their own boat they take pleasure in studying the Bible and praying for others. They describe how this brings them Christian refreshment that they couldn鈥檛 find on a more conventional holiday.
Gideons Bibles
JB Gill joins a team of volunteers from Gideons, the organisation that offers free Bibles to hotels, care homes, and other organisations. In one day travelling around south London, over 3000 Bibles are successfully given away. Christian charity worker David Duly also describes the moment he found a Gideons Bible in a hotel room, which he believes saved him from taking his own life.
Living and Working at Lee Abbey
David Revell tells Josie d鈥橝rby how an unlikely set of circumstances came together to bring him to Lee Abbey, first as a holiday guest, then as a full time member of staff.聽 He attributes his Christian faith and Lee Abbey with a positive change in his life, which has enabled him to reflect afresh on the faithfulness of God.
