Jill Douglas introduces live coverage of the climax to the elite men's road race on an unforgiving 265km course over the mighty mountains of Austria's Tyrol region.
The race includes nearly 5,000m of climbing, culminating in a final ascent along the 'Highway to Holl' with ramps of 25 per cent. It is a course which should suit Great Britain's highly talented twins Simon and Adam Yates - seven years on from Mark Cavendish's world title in Copenhagen, could there be another British winner in Austria?
Italy's Vincenzo Nibali, winner of the Tour de France in 2014, is among the pre-race favourites along with evergreen Spaniard Alejandro Valverde.
Commentary is provided by Simon Brotherton, Chris Boardman and Rochelle Gilmore.
