Soap opera based around a busy Dublin Garda station. Rory seeks leverage on a man withholding vital evidence. Though under pressure, Tom makes time for Patricia.
Motel manager Graham Carville is being questioned by Ash and Rory, but refuses to co-operate unless he is given immunity from prosecution. They believe he has illicit video footage crucial to the Donna Burke case. Without his co-operation they have nothing. Can rules be bent to get the video files handed over while preventing the pervert evading punishment?
In the pub Sean is shaken by a bombshell from Niamh. Things have not been right between them for a while and now she wants to break up, bluntly revealing she slept with someone else.
Tom Callaghan, told the murder investigation's net is closing in, takes refuge in the Pier Pub, where Patricia can tell something is amiss. He brushes off her concerns and assures her he will get help with her property problems, probably by that evening, so asks her to dinner at his place. Patricia finds it hard refuse the ever suave Callaghan's offer. But Dunne is pushing him to leave town - immediately.
