Hazel Irvine presents continued live coverage from the 2018 European Championships. The Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome hosts some of the best action of the afternoon from Glasgow as the city - along with co-hosts Berlin - welcomes over 4,500 athletes from across Europe. The men's madison final tops the track cycling billing - the madison has been added to the schedule for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
The day also marks the beginning of the athletics programme and features the women's 100m heats, meaning Britain's fastest female sprinter ever, Dina Asher-Smith is in action. Reigning European 200m champion Asher-Smith is attempting to win the 100-200m double in Berlin - both events in which she holds the British record.
