Nikhil and Helen Lederer

Michael welcomes singer-songwriter Nikhil and funny woman Helen Lederer into the studio.

This week Michael hosts On The Ball and will be playing a few tracks from this weekend's Family Album as well as inducting another songwriter into his Hall of Fame.

This Sunday Michael is joined by singer-songwriter Nikhil. Hailing from Mumbai, India, Nikhil first broke onto the British music scene in 2016 after performing at a showcase in the basement of an Italian restaurant. Now he's been playlisted on 91热爆 Radio 2 and is touring the U.K. armed with his guitar and unique sound. He'll be performing two songs live in the Musician's Circle as well as telling Michael his unusual story of how started in the industry.

Also popping by for a natter is funny woman Helen Lederer. Helen first graced our television screens back in the 1980s and has been loved by the British public ever since. From French and Saunders to Absolutely Fabulous, Helen's been making people laugh for years and is appearing in two shows at this year's Edinburgh Fringe Festival with Helen Lederer Asks Why The Fuss? and Helen Lederer: I Might as Well Say It.
