Matthew Plumb lives in his van in a forest near Abergavenny. By day he is a professional tree surgeon, but his true passion is poetry, and he spends his days up in the canopy of the trees composing new work. Outdoor fanatic Angela Jones is an international athlete and fitness instructor who has turned the borderlands into her office. Angela plans to kayak, run and swim the River Wye from its source in the Cambrian Mountains to Chepstow and back, living wild and camping along the banks, with only Jack the dog to keep her company.
