Voting's underway in the West Tyrone by-election.

A senior PSNI officer says he suspects dissident republicans left a hoax bomb at the home of a policeman's elderly parents in Derry. The alert began yesterday morning when a suspect object found at Drumleck Drive in Shantallow. Inspector Alan Hutton condemned the incident as "shameful" and "anti-community". A second overnight alert in the Creggan area turned out to be an elaborate hoax.
