Bruce MacGregor brings you the very best of folk and roots music from around the world. Including a live session from Kirsty Law.
Tradfest in Edinburgh gets underway this week, a cultural build up to Beltane and May Day marking the start of Summer. Kirsty Law will be joining Bruce for a live session ahead of her performance at the Festival. Kirsty's latest album 'Young Night Thought' is part of a multi art project looking at how traditional song can appeal to a fundamental aspect of our 'childlike' selves. We'll also her from Daniel Abercrombie of Tradfest about other gigs occurring in the capital over the next couple of weeks.
And after ten fiddler and teacher Amy Geddes will be discussing her new tune book and CD 'Fyne Fiddles'.
