Cycling and swimming feature in today's action from Gold Coast with plenty at stake in both.
The first medals of the track cycling will be decided, with Scotland's Neil Fachie aiming to defend his title in the tandem time-trial. The men's team pursuit should also be a cracking contest, with the home nations hoping to deny Australia a third consecutive crown.
Meanwhile, over at the Gold Coast Aquatic Centre, Scotland's Ross Murdoch, who memorably upset his compatriot Michael Jamieson in the men's 200m breaststroke in Glasgow four years ago, will be defending his title. And fellow Scot Hannah Miley is hoping for a third consecutive Commonwealth gold in the 400m individual medley.
