Patrick O'Connell film, a Lego expert from Portstewart, food and live music

John discusses the new film Don Patricio about Irish footballer Patrick O'Connell, who was the first Irishman to captain Manchester United.

On the John Toal Show this week, John talks to the producer of the new film "Don Patricio", about Irish footballer Patrick O'Connell. He was the first Irishman to captain Manchester United and spent 57 years in an unmarked grave after dying penniless.

Also on the football theme, Lisburn man Paul Ferris talks about his memoir "The Boy on the Shed" - a story of love and fate from when he became Newcastle United's youngest ever first teamer and how his spell turned sour.

On the 60th anniversary of Lego, John visits fanatic DJ Calvert at his home in Portstewart. Being born with undeveloped arms and legs hasn't stopped him building the most intricate and difficult of projects.

Also, there's live music in the studio with the Hootin' Annies from Tyrone, who recreate a wide variety of music in a uniquely folk way, plus Italian sausage pizza with kale and roast onions.
