Film Review Day: Nicola Meighan sits in
Film review day, including our reviews of I Tonya and Finding Your Feet, plus actor David Tennant and best-selling author Sophie Kinsella. With Nicola Meighan.
Film review day - we'll be discussing new releases I Tonya, Finding Your Feet and Dark River.
The Glasgow Film Festival Opening Gala took place last night and our reviewers Alistair Harkness and Ian Hoey sum up the evening's events, including their review of the opening film, the UK premiere of Wes Anderson's new stop motion comedy drama, Isle of Dogs.
We'll also be hearing from David Tennant about his new comedy showing this weekend at the GFF.
Best-selling author Sophie Kinsella talks about her first book for small children, Mummy Fairy and Me.
And as a retrospective exhibition of 30 years of her work opens in Glasgow and an accompanying book is published, Nicola will be talking to artist Rosemary Beaton. In 1984, whilst a student in the third year at the Glasgow School of Art, she was the first Scot and youngest person to win the prestigious John Player (now BP) National Portrait Award.
