Episode 4
Antiques experts travel across the country, competing to make a profit at auction. Charlie Ross and James Braxton travel from Glastonbury to Frome by way of Exmoor.
On this fourth leg of our Road Trip with experts Charlie Ross and James Braxton, we present a Somerset special - or should that be a Magical Mystery 'Tor'? From Glastonbury to Frome by way of Exmoor, our chums enjoy the wonderful West Country and acquire several antiques along the way.
It's the third time these two have battled it out, but after many, many miles it remains nip and tuck! James hopes an antibacterial purchase will see him clean up at auction, whereas Charlie's novel approach to get a discount sees him invite a dealer to join him for Christmas dinner - so long as she brings her Edwardian silver candlesticks.
Charlie and James also take in a visit to a glorious gothic cathedral in Wells and discover the story, and taste, of Porlock Bay oysters. Scrummy.
