As the NHS in England cancels tens of thousands of non-urgent operations and other appointments, Tony Livesey broadcasts from the A&E department of the Bradford Royal Infirmary.

As the NHS in England cancels tens of thousands of non-urgent operations and other appointments until the end of January in order to cope with what have been described as unprecedented levels of patient demand, Tony Livesey broadcasts live from the A+E Department of the Bradford Royal Infirmary and talks to senior executives, doctors, nurses, patients and receptionists to try to get a handle on the pressures that hospital trusts are facing and the lengths that staff are going to in order to cope.
Elsewhere, after the latest flurry of tweet from Donald Trump, Lucy Grey invites our North America Editor Jon Sopel to reflect on the role that social media plays in the current Presidency. She also talks to Douglas Richardson from the Royal Zoological Society Scotland about the news that at least one polar bear cub was born over the Christmas period at the Highland Wildlife Park - and hears from David Hood from the legendary Muscle Shoals house band "The Swampers" after the death was announced of producer Rick Hall, who was the man behind hits by Aretha Franklin, Etta James, Otis Redding, Wilson Pickett and countless others too.
