Join Mark Stephen and Euan McIlwraith for the latest outdoor activities from Shetland to the Borders, plus the key stories for those who live and work in the countryside.

Euan meets the Scottish Government's Moorland Management group special advisors. Adam Smith from the Scottish Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust and Susan Davies of the Scottish Wildlife Trust and finds out about their new roles.

Mark and Euan are in Brechin finding out about the Angus Tourism Co-operative.

Cuantec are a Strathclyde University spin-off company and have been working for over two years developing a revolutionary food wrap made from shellfish. Mark went to see the process for himself and find out how important it could be in the future.

A murmuration of Starlings is an incredible site. The birds are quite common in the south of Scotland and there is even a roost in central Glasgow. Helen Needham went to see if she could spot them.

Euan finds out how peatland is being restored and protected with an interesting use of old ski equipment.

Two years ago Beena Rawlinson and her husband Sam invited us to record our Christmas programme in their hobbit hut. Sadly a few months later Sam died. This week Mark met up with Beena and went for a walk to find out how the outdoors has helped her deal with her grief.

Mark visits a farm shop in Kippen with an indoor beehive.

Euan has been out road testing or hill testing sledges. We find out his results just in time for a snowy weekend.

And we bring you some stormy and snowy soundscapes.
