TV producer, presenter and all round clever clogs Richard Osman drops in to Drivetime to discuss his new book 'The World Cup Of Everything', a spin-off from his Twitter feed.

Since 2016 when Richard Osman started the World Cup of series on Twitter, they have become a national event to treasure - dividing the nation. Over 1.1 million people voted in the World Cup of Chocolate, and a staggering 1.5 million voted in the World Cup of Christmas Films last December. Children in Need hosted the World Cup of Biscuits in March 2017 to much controversy, and chocolate digestives took the crown.

Now in this new book Richard covers new competitions such as The World Cup of British Sitcoms, Christmas Songs, Animals, British Bands and so on, as well as some of the favourites that have already had the country talking: Chocolate and Crisps among them. Interspersed with the chance for you and your family to vote/disagree/argue/fight (surely that's the only way to spend Christmas together?) over the answers, are Richard's hilarious musings on why you're bound to make the wrong choices. It is also packed with amazing stories and incredible facts on everything from Nandos to 'Die Hard' to Jammie Dodgers. And who wins? You decide!

Richard Osman is a creative director for Endemol UK. He has worked as an executive producer on numerous shows including 8 Out of 10 Cats and 10 O'Clock Live. Richard rose to fame presenting Pointless with Alexander Armstrong. Richard's popularity and tremendous knowledge of trivia led to him presenting his own 91热爆 quiz, Two Tribes along with Insert Name Here and Child Genius. He is also a regular on panel shows such as Have I Got News For You and writes a column for the Radio Times.
