RNIB's new Chair, Ellie Southwood, responds to MP Marsha de Cordova's concern that the charity has not appointed a blind or partially-sighted CEO. Ellie explains the recruitment process and her reasons for selecting a sighted person for the role.
Maria Oshodi is the blind director who founded the theatre company Extant, which is about to celebrate its 20th anniversary. Maria talks about the company's journey from experimental theatre to the more collaborative group it now is, about the launch the Tim Gebbels bursary in memory of one of its former members.
