Bob previews next week's CMA Awards, the biggest night in the country music calendar.

Bob previews next week's CMA Awards, the biggest night in the country music calendar. On November 8th, the whole country community will descend on the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee for a three-hour spectacular honouring the very best in country music.

The event is hosted by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood and features a wide range of performers, often from unusual areas! Last year's ceremony featured a surprise appearance by Beyonce with the Dixie Chicks, and in 2015 Justin Timberlake sang with Chris Stapleton.

Bob will be looking at the history of the event, and unveiling his predictions for the top honours on the night! Will Keith Urban triumph as Entertainer of the Year, or will Garth Brooks hold on to his crown? Taylor Swift or Miranda Lambert for Song of the Year?

Let Bob mark your card, and remember that the Awards themselves will be broadcast on Radio 2 on November 11th.
