Antiques experts travel across the country, competing to make a profit at auction. Paul and Kate find a rare antique in Kent that smashes the Road Trip record at auction.
Kate Bliss and Paul Laidlaw's final trip in the sixties Volvo sees them plot a course through Kent before heading for an auction in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. Paul finds himself in Dover and hears about one plucky swimmer who believed bagpipes would help him across the English Channel. Kate, meanwhile, infiltrates a once-top-secret organisation for the afternoon to learn more about their history. The journey ends on a high with an incredible auction in Bury St Edmunds as one expert achieves the highest ever Antiques Road Trip profit.
