This series of Neighbourhood Blues follows Northumbria Police's neighbourhood teams as they work with the public to keep our streets safe across the north east of England.

Racial tensions are running high in Sunderland. A brick has been thrown through the window of a house in a race-hate attack. When officers discover a chilling note attached to the brick, the neighbourhood team become involved in a race against time to get the occupants of the house to safety. In Southwick, north of Newcastle, the neighbourhood team uncover a cannabis farm worth over a quarter of a million pounds. As the team search the property, they're shocked to uncover the living conditions of the person who was running the farm. Also in today's episode, PCSOs Craig and Gill help an elderly man who has been left shaken by a recent burglary.
