Canal Trip
Dougie and Nick continue their trip along the Union canal, this week tackling both the Falkirk tunnel and the Falkirk wheel. Once they arrive at the Falkirk basin they try to tempt the visitors with a treat that was served to the 19th century canal boat passengers – ox-tongue!
Kelso Ram Sales
Life-long sheep farmer Joyce visits Kelso Ram Sales for the first time. For one day in September nineteen temporary sales rings spring up to sell over 5000 rams. It’s an amazing atmosphere as Joyce finds out!
Country day out
Arlene joins the Fife school kids on a farm visit organised by the Royal Highland Education Trust. They get a taste of all sorts of different countryside activities from forestry to sheep shearing.
