Education and Skills
Wendy Austin presents commentary and analysis on business and the economy in NI. This week Wendy and guests discuss education skills, apprenticeships and work readiness.
Schools are back after the summer so we have a special programme for the start of the new academic year. We examine education skills, apprenticeships and work readiness. Wendy is joined in the studio by Jim Clarke, the chief executive of the Council for Catholic Maintained Schools, and Bill Connor, the chief executive of Sentinus.
We also have Queen's pro-vice chancellor Mark Price and Naomh McElhatton, the founder of SMART NI, as well as Tammy Whelan, who took a less-traditional path into education and training by completing an engineering apprenticeship with Arup.
