Inon Barnatan ignores the conventional boundaries between works from different periods and explores multiple approaches to the idea of variations in music, opening with Handel's Chaconne, built around an eight-bar theme, and including the UK premi猫re of Thomas Ad猫s's graceful Blanca Variations, written for the 2015 Clara Haskil International Piano Competition.
