Do you remember when flying used to be fun? How we went from being customers to suspects?

Flying used to be such a treat. Treated like royalty, quality food, little towels, sweets, drinks - all free. What happened? How did it become like herding livestock?

Ah, the welcome aboard announcement - the sweet smiles, making sure you were comfortable, as much food and drink as you could consumer, a relaxing nap then a warm towel to gently awaken you - those were just some of the things that were part and parcel of air travel a generation ago. What happened? When did everyone become a suspect? And when did airline staff become so unbelievably overbearing? Vinny talks to two seasoned travellers: Geoff Hill and Liz Kennedy.

Broadcasting royalty - the 91热爆 doesn't roll out the red carpet too often, but when a star like Julian Simmons agrees to an interview then you just have to make a big impression. Julian, who is eternally 35 and a half, tells Vinny what he wishes he had known when he was 25. Having survived the assault course of flying to your holiday destination, you arrive hot, tired and sweaty at your hotel/apartment, and that's when you realise the flight was going to be the highlight of your fortnight in the sun. That beach pictured in the brochure is indeed beautful but it's ten miles away and you're in the equivalent of an industrial estate. Holiday horrors with Liz and Geoff. Gardening is easy - whatever grows, grow more of it and don't forget to copy your neighbours. Also, Vinny, who despite being a culchie, pretends he knows nothing of the country, learns the importance of manure and discovers it can be bought in bags.
