The Scarlets are pushing for one of the top four play-off spots and have had an impressive campaign so far, including stirring wins over big-hitters Leinster, Ulster, Glasgow and most recently Munster at Thomond Park.

Edinburgh, on the other hand, come into this game off the back of a wretched run of league form, having lost eight Pro12 matches in their last nine. With a top six spot theoretically still to play for, but more importantly team selection for the European Challenge Cup quarter-final a week later, the Edinburgh players will be looking to repeat their performance against the Welshmen earlier in the season when they triumphed 20-9 at Murrayfield, with tries from Michael Allen and Magnus Bradbury.

With Richard Cockerill due to take charge of Edinburgh from the start of next season, acting head coach Duncan Hodge will be pushing his side to finish his time at the helm on a positive note.
