Bruce MacGregor celebrates female musicians with a session from the Kinnaris Quintet.

In the week of International Women's Day, Bruce MacGregor celebrates female musicians. We also discuss the current debate in the traditional and folk world about the lack of female instrumentalists on stages. This was sparked off by Rachel Newton who wonders what happens to all the girls who learn instruments but don't necessarily become professional musicians.

Plus a radio debut for the newly formed all female group, The Kinnaris Quintet who are in session.
