Mitesh Pattni chats about his preparations for The Clipper Round the World Yacht Race, a challenging trip covering forty thousand nautical miles across the world's toughest oceans. Mick describes the incredible scale of the challenge he signed up to - and all in the name of charity - having had no previous sailing experience at all! Just two days before his training begins Mick tells Noreen about why he's chosen to embark on such a crazy journey, to push himself beyond what he knows, so he can complete the circumnavigation of the world. The trip starts in August and takes eleven months to complete. Mick will update listeners on the journey from different ports around the world detailing the adventure of pitting his wits, skills and courage against unpredictable waters for nearly a year.
