Billy Sloan introduces the very best in pop and rock music from Scotland's greats as well as the rest of the world with regular features Spin The Globe and Early Morning Soul. In the Musical Chairs feature Billy highlights the career of singer/songwriter and musician Mick Jones, best known for his work with The Clash and associated with the likes of Big Audio Dynamite, Aztec Camera, Gorillaz, The Libertines, The Justice Tonight Band, General Public, Carbon/Sillicon, Ian Hunter, Theatre of Hate, Primal Scream, Rachid Taha and The Wallflowers. The Great Collaborations track features Stevie Wonder and Smokey Robinson and in The Real Thing it's 'To Know Him Is To Love Him' by The Teddy Bears - Phil Spector was inspired to write this in early 1958 by a photograph of his father Ben's tombstone that said 'To have known him was to have loved him'.
