Film-maker Terry Abraham, plus the most Scottish names ever!
Mark Radcliffe and Stuart Maconie chat to documentary maker Terry Abraham about his new film Life of a Mountain: Blencathra.
Mark Radcliffe and Stuart Maconie chat to documentary maker Terry Abraham about his new 91热爆 Four film Life of a Mountain: Blencathra. A self-taught filmmaker and photographer, he was made redundant from what he describes as a "lowly IT role". This sudden lack of work gave him the impetus to pursue his love of the outdoors. Previously he's turned his attentions to England's highest mountain, in Life of a Mountain: Scafell Pike and returns to the Lake District to study what's known as the People's Mountain, Blencathra. The film features contributions from comedian Ed Byrne, mountaineer Alan Hinkes OBE, record breaking fellrunner Steve Birkinshaw and some chap called Stuart Maconie.
Plus Mark was up in Glasgow for Celtic Connections, so you can hear a beautiful tune from Laura Marling with the 91热爆 Scottish Symphony Orchestra performed at the opening of the festival. The chaps also asked for the most Scottish ever names you'd come across.
Also upon radio's summit you'll find The Chain, an exhaustive list of records suggested by your very good selves. Did you know that your tune could be next? Or perhaps you fancy having your name read out on the wireless because you, you clever soul you, guessed the link between the songs on Tea Time Theme Time.
