The NSPCC opens a special helpline for football players, after four former players revealed they were sexually abused by a coach when they were in youth teams.

The NSPCC and the FA have opened a special 24-hour helpline for football players who have been sexually abused while in youth teams.

The former Manchester City and England player David White has become the latest footballer to say he was a victim of abuse in the 1970s and 80s. He, together with ex-Crewe players Andy Woodward and Steve Walters, say they were repeatedly attacked by convicted paedophile Barry Bennell. Former Tottenham forward Paul Stewart also says he was abused by a coach, but hasn't named his attacker.
