Food Writer Yasmin Khan talks about travelling three thousand kilometers through Iran for the writing of her new book The Saffron Tales. Yasmin describes being armed with just a note pad, pen and bottle of pomegranate molasses on her quest to discover the culinary magic of Iran and the surrounding areas. She also reveals the details of cooking and eating in kitchens across Iran and how ordinary working life for Iranians today is a world away from how it is routinely depicted in the West.
