Eye on Wales hears from patients who have suffered in silence from a debilitating and embarrassing condition which means they have no control over their bowel movements.

Experts estimate that bowel incontinence could affect as much as 10 or even 20 per cent of some sectors of the population. 听听

In the most serious of cases it can leave people isolated and housebound.听 For such patients a 拢7,500 implant may be the answer.

But, as presenter Selma Chalabi discovers, the treatment is not being routinely funded in Wales.
