Harvest - Part One

It's the season of Harvest and the Rev. Kate Bottley goes behind the scenes at London's famous Billingsgate market to help persuade fish sellers to hand over the prized catch and donate it for a Harvest Festival of the Sea.

Adoption

To mark National Adoption Week we visit Christian couple Claire and Alan. They tell us how, after having three healthy children of their own, they felt God was calling them to adopt a child who might not easily find a forever home.

They adopted a baby with learning difficulties who has brought great joy to the whole family.

Harvest - Part Two

The Rev. Kate Bottley attends the historic annual Festival of the Sea service at St. Mary-at-Hill Church, a stone's throw from the Old Billingsgate fish market. She lends a hand as fish seller Bill Thornton and his friends create a display of donated fish. And Kate finds out why this service means so聽much to those who attend each year and why the fish is given to charity. 聽
