Margaret Atwood is a Canadian poet, novelist, literary critic and essayist. She is the author of seventeen novels, which include The Edible Woman, The Handmaid's Tale and The Blind Assassin. She has been shortlisted for the Man Booker Prize five times, winning once, and has been a finalist for the Governor General's Award several times, winning twice.

First broadcast in 2016, and repeated to complement 91热爆 Radio 4鈥檚 serialisation of The Testaments, which begins on 16th September at 12.04 pm.
